York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are seeking a motivated, passionate and experienced physiotherapist to join our Adult Tier 3 Weight Management Service.
This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialist physiotherapy within a developing Tier 3 weight management pathway, working collaboratively with a supportive multidisciplinary team and alongside Tier 4 services to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, strong clinical reasoning and a commitment to supporting people living with obesity to improve their health, wellbeing and confidence. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence service development, promote clinical excellence and support the growth and learning of others within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

To undertake the specialist physiotherapy assessment and management of a designated group of patients within the specialty of Tier 3 weight management in face to face, group or virtual setting.
To provide support, specialist advice and training to more junior members of staff and students. To act as a resource within the department and Trust providing specialist information and advice regarding patients within the speciality of Tier 3 weight management .
To work autonomously and be responsible for a defined area of service working without direct supervision, Clinical work is not routinely evaluated, however clinical work will be evaluated in line with Trust and service objectives. Access and advice is available from senior professional colleagues if required.
