Tungsten West is restarting the world-class Hemerdon Tungsten-Tin Mine in South Devon and is seeking a Qualified Mechanical Fitter to support installation, maintenance and reliability of heavy plant and processing equipment.
This is a hands-on role within a major UK mining operation, supporting rebuild, commissioning and ongoing production.
** This role requires you to pass a Drug and Alcohol test on day one **

About the Role
You will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, control, issuing and stock management of materials, spare parts, consumables and tools required to support maintenance and production operations. The Stores Person is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring materials are available when required, and operating safely in accordance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and record incoming goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Issue parts and consumables against authorised work orders.
- Conduct stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain clean, organised and safe storage areas.
- Control tooling and equipment issue/return.
- Support purchasing with stock replenishment.
- Comply with all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience within a warehouse or stores
- Computer literate
- Experience with inventory systems
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Reliable and committed

- Great attention to detail
- Full UK Driving License
- Role related qualifications would be desirable such as an NVQ, Forklift license or IOSH Working Safely
