Business Development Manager
Location: South West England (Field-Based)
Salary: £50,000-£55,000 + Company Car + Bonus
Overview
We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across the South West. This is a field-based role focused on identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities within the capital equipment sector.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively prospect and generate new business opportunities across the region

Develop and manage a strong pipeline through cold calling, networking, and market research

Build and nurture long-term relationships with new clients

Identify customer needs and deliver tailored capital equipment solutions

Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through to negotiation and close

Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery

Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales forecasts
Requirements

Proven experience in a Business Development / Sales role within capital equipment

Strong track record of prospecting and winning new business

Demonstrable ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers

Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Full UK driving licence
