Role Overview: The Window and Door Surveyor is responsible for conducting precise technical surveys of windows, doors, and related products at customer properties. This role ensures accurate measurements and specifications for manufacturing and installation, helping deliver high-quality results and excellent customer satisfaction. The surveyor acts as a key link between sales, manufacturing, and installation teams, ensuring compliance with building regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct On-Site Surveys: Visit customer properties to measure and assess windows, doors, and conservatories.
· Prepare Technical Drawings: Create detailed and accurate drawings for manufacturing.
· Verify Customer Requirements: Confirm product specifications, designs, and suitability with the customer.
· Compliance: Ensure all work meets UK Building Regulations and company standards.
· Liaison: Communicate effectively with installation teams, sales, and manufacturing departments.
· Documentation: Upload survey details to CRM systems and maintain accurate records.
· Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
Skills & Qualifications
· Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in window and door surveying or fenestration industry.
· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of uPVC, aluminium, timber products, and installation requirements.
· Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with UK Building Regulations and health & safety standards.
· IT Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
· Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required.
· Preferred: NVQ Level 3 in Surveying or equivalent experience.
