Amici is a busy, independent Italian restaurant in Alwoodley, Leeds, serving authentic Italian cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. We have built a fantastic reputation over many years and are proud of our loyal customer base, with many guests returning to us week after week.
We are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our friendly kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys producing high quality food, takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a professional, supportive team.
One of the biggest benefits of this role is the work life balance. You'll work approximately 40 to 42 hours per week, significantly fewer hours than many Chef de Partie positions. This is a permanent, regular contract role and includes 28 days holiday paid per year.
The restaurant is closed every Monday and Tuesday, except on Bank Holidays, giving the team two regular consecutive days off most weeks.
What we're looking for
* At least 2 years' experience working in a professional kitchen.
* Ideally 1 year or more working in an Italian restaurant.
* Passion for Italian cuisine and fresh ingredients.
* Willingness to learn every section of the kitchen.
* Happy to share ideas and suggestions as part of the team.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in producing consistently high quality dishes.
* Good communication with both the kitchen and front of house team.
* Reliable, punctual and able to work well during busy services.
