Drainage Gangs
Alto Construct is a privately-owned, independent civil engineering contractor with a strong pipe-line of work with a range of Tier 1 & 2 clients. We undertake a diverse range of groundworks and civil engineering projects on a nationwide basis.
We are looking for two deep drainage gangs to join our team for a project in Wigan for an immediate start.
To apply you must have:
- A valid CSCS card.
- Previous experience laying deep drainage on a range of groundworks/civil engineering schemes. Must be comfortable lifting and installing large concrete pipes, trench and manhole boxes at depth.
- Excavator operators must have lifting operations.
- A genuine commitment to working safely, taking pride in your work and delivering high standards of quality.
- The ability to work as part of a team: be reliable, hard-working, as well as having a positive and professional approach to your work and the wider site team.
- The right to work in the UK.
It would be ideal, but not essential, if you also have the following training:
- Confined Spaces
- NPORS Slinger/Signaller
We offer competitive rates of pay, depending on skills and experience. Standard working days are Monday – Friday, with some weekends where required. Longer-term work is available for the right candidates.
