Job Description
To lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a great domiciliary care service, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care, regulatory compliance, business growth, and effective team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the care service in line with CQC regulations, the Care Act, and company policies.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
- Maintain compliance with safeguarding, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage recruitment, training, supervision, and performance of staff.
- Oversee client assessments, care planning, risk management, and service reviews.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, professionals, and commissioners.
- Manage service performance, occupancy/client growth, budgets, payroll, invoicing, and cost control.
- Lead audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support business development and local marketing activities to grow the service.
- Lead CQC inspections
Essential Requirements
- Previous management experience within domiciliary care or adult social care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care legislation.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and performance.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
