We are currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants to support individuals requiring respite and dementia care within a caring and supportive environment. What we're looking for:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a UK healthcare setting
- Experience supporting individuals with dementia and personal care needs
- A caring, reliable, and professional approach to care delivery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing care needs and work effectively as part of a team
- A valid DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Nursdoc
Key responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Supporting individuals living with dementia in a safe, respectful, and person-centred manner
- Assisting with mobility and promoting independence wherever possible
- Providing companionship and encouraging engagement in meaningful activities
- Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behaviour, or wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with colleagues and healthcare professionals
