We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, one of the UK’s largest comprehensive automotive accident repairers, who is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their busy centre in Newport.
You’ll work in modern facilities alongside a friendly, supportive team, reporting to the Centre Manager, delivering high-quality panel and bodywork repairs to the client’s exacting standards.

- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday only, with flexible start and finish times
Duties:
- Undertake replacement and repair of damaged or compromised bodywork panels
- Complete chassis and framework repairs
- Accurately assess vehicle damage and apply appropriate methods to produce high-quality repairs
- Carry out bumper and door repair work as required
- Ensure all Panel Beater work meets internal and third-party quality standards
- Work as part of a team to help ensure the centre runs efficiently and safely
Requirements:
- Current or recent experience working as a Panel Beater
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) desirable, but strong on-the-job experience will be considered
- Strong eye for detail and a commitment to consistent, meticulous workmanship
- Good communication skills and the ability to multitask
- UK driving licence with minimal points
- ATA accreditation and/or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards beneficial, but non-essential
- Ability to work to deadlines and maintain a high standard of quality across every repair
