Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Drivers to join our dynamic team. You will be on a continental shift pattern, working both days and nights. The ideal candidates will be proactive team players and have experience working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- First and foremost, understanding and complying with all Health & Safety rules
- Working in a fast-paced production environment operating a counterbalance FLT with clamp attachment, full training will be provided for the attachment
- Ensure the external FLT safety check is completed every shift prior to driving
- Locate board from storage bays following picking lists to deliver to the machine(s) you are assigned to, ensuring you maintain the effectiveness and efficiency of machine production output
- When feeding machines, you are to ensure all paperwork is followed and all boards and labels are updated accordingly
Qualifications
- Current Counterbalance FLT license Required
- At least 2 years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
This is a continental shift pattern consisting of 12-hour shifts. The rota totals 84 hours over a two-week period: 60 hours worked over five days in week one and 24 hours over two days in week two. Shifts operate on a four-week rotation, with the first two weeks on day shifts at £12.80ph, followed by two weeks on night shifts at £17.00ph
