Your Role:
You’ll be responsible for carrying out thorough, multi-point inspections across a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they meet our strict performance and safety standards.
Key inspection areas include:
- Fluids: Engine oil, brake fluid, power steering, transmission fluid, and coolant
- Filters: Ensuring air and oil filters are clean and efficient
- Belts & Hoses: Checking for wear, cracks, or damage
- Tires: Assessing tread depth, condition, and alignment
- Battery: Testing performance and condition
- Other Systems: Including engine, transmission, shocks, struts, axle, chassis, exhaust, and steering
Main Duties:
- Conduct detailed multi-point vehicle inspections
- Diagnose faults and irregularities using appropriate diagnostic tools
- Prepare clear and accurate inspection reports
- Highlight and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards
- Record all findings and inspection data precisely
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a mechanical or vehicle inspection role
- Competence with diagnostic tools and fault-finding processes
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong organisational and reporting skills
- A full UK driving licence is essential
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
