Bar Manager – High-Energy Independent Pub
We’re looking for a strong, experienced Bar Manager to take the helm of the team at one of the busiest independent pubs in the area.
If you love the pace of a packed bar, the buzz of live sport, the energy of live music, and the challenge of running big nights until 2am, this could be the role for you.
We’re an established independent venue with a loyal customer base, a busy events calendar, and big plans for the future. This isn’t a role where you’ll just keep things ticking over — it’s an opportunity to take ownership, build your team, and play a key role in where the business goes next.
We’re after someone who can bring leadership, personality, and serious operational know-how to a high-volume environment.
You’ll need:
- Proven management experience in a busy pub or bar
- Confidence leading and developing large teams
- A calm head and strong floor presence during high-pressure service
- Strong understanding of stock control, GP, rotas, and labour
- Experience in late-night trade, live events, and sport-led venues
- Solid knowledge of licensing and compliance
What you’ll be doing:
- Running day-to-day operations and leading from the front
- Building, motivating, and developing the team
- Delivering consistently strong service and atmosphere
- Managing stock, costs, and performance
- Helping shape events, drive trade, and grow the business
- Making sure every shift runs smoothly, safely, and profitably
