Job Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating lorries to deliver goods across various locations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 flatbed lorries for the transportation of goods and materials.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with legal standards.
- Secure loads properly on flatbeds to prevent movement during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
- Adhere to all road safety laws, driving regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading when required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to management.
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver or HGV driver.
- Prior experience with flatbed vehicles is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices for commercial driving.
- Familiarity with delivery routes and logistics planning is advantageous.
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence is essential, with a clean driving record.

Pay: £12.60-£16.90 per hour
