We are seeking an experienced Sash Window Fitter who specialises in both restoration and installation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of traditional box sash windows and be confident working in period properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Full restoration of existing timber sash windows
- Overhauling, draught-proofing, and rebalancing sashes
- Hardwood cill replacements and timber repairs
- Resin repairs where appropriate
- Installation of new sash windows (single and double glazed)
- Glazing (including slimline double glazing)
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard with care for clients’ homes
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in sash window restoration and installation
- Strong carpentry skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills on site
- Professional and polite manner with clients
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
