We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Therapist to join our dental practice. Duties
- Provide preventative and restorative dental treatments under the supervision of a dentist, including fillings, extractions, and periodontal care
- Assist in developing personalised treatment plans tailored to patient needs
- Utilise CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for designing dental restorations where applicable
- Operate medical imaging equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images for assessment and planning
- Conduct oral health assessments, including visual examinations and patient education on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Support the dental team in ensuring a smooth workflow and exceptional patient care experience
- Uphold strict infection control protocols and maintain clinical cleanliness at all times
Requirements
- recognised qualification as a Dental Therapist from an accredited institution
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral structures and dental procedures
- Proficiency in using CAD software for dental design purposes is desirable
- Experience with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and treatment documentation
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
