As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be working within the Corporate Health and Safety Team and reporting to the Health and Safety Manager. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to support the delivery of key health and safety and fire safety objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Health and Safety Management System to include, the Health and Safety Policy and associated Health and Safety Management Arrangements.
- Supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Fire Prevention Strategy, including Fire Safety Management Plans and Fire Risk Assessments.
- Supporting the development and delivery of health and safety training, fire training and associated policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Supporting the management and ongoing development of Risk Assessments, DSE Assessments, COSHH Assessments and Emergency Plans.
- Managing and coordinating incident reports and investigation processes, including scheduling, reporting and tracking of corrective action reports.

The ideal candidate will bring:
- A NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Sound knowledge of relevant health, safety and fire legislation, with the ability to interpret and apply guidance effectively.
- Experience in carrying out a range of risk assessments, including Fire, Health & Safety, COSHH and Manual Handling.
- Experience in Contractor Management and managing their health and safety performance on a large multi-purpose site.
- A genuine commitment to creating a safe, healthy and engaging environment that supports incredible events and customer experiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Resilience, professionalism and confident decision-making skills.
- Membership (or working towards membership) of IOSH.
- Proficient in most Microsoft Software packages to incl Microsoft Word and Excel.
