The Role

Key Responsibilities
· Parts Sourcing: Identify and source forklift components using specialized online supplier portals.
· Inventory Control: Receive, verify, and allocate daily parts deliveries to stock efficiently.
· Logistics: Manage courier dispatches and coordinate regular replenishment of engineer van stock.
· Customer Care: Deliver professional customer service via telephone and face-to-face interactions.
· Administration: Execute daily departmental administrative tasks and participate in annual stocktakes.
· Team Support: Undertake ad hoc duties to support the department as required.
Skills & Experience
- Technical Awareness: Understanding of mechanical components or basic mechanical knowledge is highly advantageous.
- IT Literacy: Proficient in standard computer applications and comfortable learning new software portals.
- Communication: Confident telephone manner with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Organisation: Methodical, proactive approach with strong organizational skills.
