Job Summary
We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Multi Drop Delivery Drivers to join our growing team in Deeside.
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy driving, working independently, and providing outstanding customer service. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering parcels efficiently and safely to residential and commercial customers within designated delivery areas.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries across multiple destinations
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secure during transit
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers upon completion of each drop
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Assist with warehouse duties as required, including heavy lifting and stock organisation
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is desirable
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is advantageous
- Experience in heavy lifting and manual handling tasks is beneficial
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Valid UK driver’s licence or equivalent is essential
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently in a fast-paced environment
