Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bar / Front of House team members to deliver exceptional customer service in a lively hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders, and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
- Serve drinks and food efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately, providing correct change and processing card payments
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and allergen information, to assist guests effectively
- Support bar operations during busy periods, including preparing drinks and restocking supplies
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations in line with company policies
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Effective time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality standards
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
