Data Officer
Term-Time plus 1 Week (working at least 2 days in August to support GCSE & A-Level results)
37 hours per week
Salary: H5/H6 Actual salary £24,206 - £28,317 (FTE £27,254 - £32,061)
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Officer to lead the management of the school’s student information systems and provide high-quality administrative support across the school.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate student records, producing statutory returns including the School Census, analysing and reporting data to support school leaders, and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and security of student information.
You will have excellent IT and data management skills, experience of working with management information systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the school’s Management Information System (MIS)
- Produce and submit statutory returns, including School Census data
- Generate reports and data analysis for senior leaders, governors, and external agencies
- Support assessment, examination, admissions, and timetabling processes
- Ensure student data is accurate, secure, and compliant with regulations
- Provide administrative, reception, and communication support across the school
