Equans is looking for a Shift Electrical Craftsperson to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 39.375 hours per week. This is based on a shift rota working 2 days on (7am-7pm) then 2 nights on (7pm-7am) then 4 days off. The responsibilities will be at the Acute PFI Hospital
Undertake any reasonable duties to maintain all services to the NHS Trust
Carry out all works in compliance with EQUANS’s KPI’s and contract
Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision
Set up New Work appropriate to his/her own trade using relevant tools, equipment and machinery, without supervision, as appropriate to his/her grade
After appropriate training, work off tower scaffolding, MEWP’s, ladders, and step ladders and within confined spaces
Carry out unsupervised maintenance and repairs and report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor
