We specialise in delivering highly complex treatment and therapy to children and adults requiring neuro rehabilitation for spasticity management or other conditions which impact mobility . Using botulinum toxin, nerve surgery, chemical nerve blockade, hand therapy and physiotherapy the skilled teams in PSP offers hope to very disabled individuals. They work in close collaboration with the full multidisciplinary team of clinical staff and care staff from both statutory services and the private arena, in the community and in hospitals, to deliver a tailored individual approach to every patient. Such an approach requires an expert administration team to support it. This specific role is to provide some of that support to the whole team, and specific duties for the Clinical Services Director as a PA. Most systems in the businesses and all processes are bespoke so training will be given. The role is varied so an ability to adapt and learn quickly is essential.
Specific PA Duties and Responsibilities
Overseeing the Clinical Services Director’s email and correspondence.
Managing diaries for the Clinical Services Director’s PSP work ensuring no double booking with other business activities.
Acting as a communication conduit for the Clinical Director through to the rest of the business.
Booking international travel as required.
Typing of clinical notes and preparation of patient letters for the Clinical Services Director.
Booking of meetings for the Clinical Services Director. This includes business development meetings, staff management meetings, general corporate and clinical governance meetings and other ad hoc activities as required.
Preparation of slides and presentations as required.
Coordination of the Clinical Service Director's time and planning surgery with fellow MDT members which includes coordinating with other MDT members, the client, the venue, staffing for the venue, collection of consent, ensuring the correct equipment is on site on the day, records are maintained and that the service is correctly quoted plus invoiced.
Assist with clinical audit processes for Clinical Services Director alongside maintenance of records for same.
Support the Clinical Director in their role as CQC Registered Manager.

General Duties
You will be a team member in a small administration team based in the office in Preston. This team is involved in all administration tasks required to support patients and clinical staff alike such as:
Acting as a point of contact for patients/families/referrers, clinical team and all other stakeholders always portraying the business in highest professional basis possible.
Maintaining full, true and accurate detail and description in medical records held by PSP
Assist with correspondence and report transcription and checking as required for the clinical team.
Assisting with the booking a theatre and clinic slots as requested.
Assist with invoicing processes as required as well as other month end processes.
Assist with governance and training activities as requested.
Management of diaries and booking of meetings and appointments.
Again, this list is not exhaustive; additional task will be allocated by the Practice Manager or the Administration Supervisor from time to time.
The Person
We are looking for a self motivated all round, proactive administrator with significant previous experience who wants to work alongside a highly professional team that prides itself on the quality of its work and its professional attitude. Good IT skills, fast thinking and a problem solver you will like a challenge and really enjoy delivering near perfection for the Clinical Services Director. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable as is a good knowledge of clinical vocabulary and an understanding of how private hospitals may work. You must be comfortable with Microsoft packages as well as having worked with highly confidential material. Being a car driver, although not essential, would make the job easier. Salary may be negotiable for the ideal candidate.
