Time for a change? Change a child’s life.
Are you passionate about children and ready to build a career that makes a real, lasting difference?
We’re looking for caring, resilient individuals and families to become foster carers for babies, young children, teenagers, and sibling groups. If you’re ready for a meaningful role centred around giving children the best possible start in life, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
Why Fostering?
As a foster carer, no two days are ever the same. Your role is primarily focused on providing stability, compassion, and high-quality care to children who are unable to live with their families at this current time.
It’s challenging. It’s rewarding. And it changes lives — including your own.
As a Foster Carer, you will:
- Provide a safe, stable, and loving home for a vulnerable child
- Offer consistent care and emotional support
- Work closely with social workers, health professionals, and birth families to ensure the best outcomes for the child
- Help a child rebuild confidence, trust, and a sense of belonging
No formal qualifications are required. Your life experience, commitment, and genuine desire to care for children are what matters most.
What We Provide:
✨ 24/7 support from an ‘Outstanding’ rated fostering service
You’ll have an experienced, compassionate team offering practical, emotional, and financial support whenever you need it.
✨ Comprehensive training and ongoing professional development
So you feel confident, skilled, and fully prepared for every stage of your fostering journey.
✨ A strong and supportive fostering community
You’ll never feel alone and will be part of a network that truly understands.
What You’ll Need:
- To be over 21
- A spare bedroom - we are able to take on a few carers each year who can look after babies and toddlers in their bedroom and therefore do not require a spare bedroom.
- A safe, stable, and loving home
- Empathy, patience, and resilience
- The ability to nurture and advocate for a child
If you’re ready for a new direction, a new purpose, and a role that truly matters, South Coast Fostering would love to hear from you.
Take the first step today and start your fostering journey.
