We’re looking for a reliable short-form video editor to help edit regular content for EcomKings and Scott Fensome.
We create unboxing videos, lost luggage content, lifestyle/business vlogs, warehouse content, eBay Live clips, and general social media videos. Across our pages, we have nearly 500,000 followers, so this is a good opportunity for someone who wants to work on content that is already being watched and has room to grow.
The role will mainly involve editing short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms.
What we need:
- Editing short-form videos from raw footage
- Creating strong hooks in the first few seconds
- Adding captions/subtitles
- Cutting videos in a fast-paced, engaging style
- Understanding what works on TikTok/Reels/Shorts
- Being able to turn around edits quickly
- Being reliable and consistent
Content style:
- Product unboxings
- Lost luggage/mystery box videos
- Lifestyle and business vlogs
- Warehouse/e-commerce content
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Funny, natural, entertaining clips
This is not a one-off job. We need someone who can help us stay ahead with regular uploads.
Pay:
Starting at £14 per hour, with the opportunity to move onto a commission/performance-based structure for the right person.
The commission option could suit someone who is confident in their editing ability and wants to earn more based on video performance rather than just hourly pay.
Requirements:
- Must be reliable
- Must be able to meet deadlines
- Must have experience editing short-form content
- Must understand social media pacing
- Must be able to communicate properly and keep us updated
- Must be able to work consistently each week
