Gartsherrie Engineering is looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Industrial Painter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to build a career in manufacturing and engineering.
As part of your apprenticeship, you will learn industrial painting techniques and also assist with the movement and control of work throughout our factory, helping ensure jobs flow smoothly from start to finish.
Your Responsibilities:
- Learn industrial painting and surface preparation techniques.
- Prepare components for painting and finishing.
- Assist with goods in process by moving, checking and identifying parts.
- Help maintain stock and work-in-progress records.
- Work closely with production and fabrication teams.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping.
- Develop skills through on-the-job training and formal apprenticeship learning.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Is leaving school and looking to start a long-term career.
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn.
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work.
- Is reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Can work well as part of a team.
- Has an interest in engineering or manufacturing (beneficial but not essential).
