Experienced Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker (Workshop & Site Work)
We are a fast-growing, family-run company in Wickford specialising in bespoke kitchens, wardrobes, and high-end furniture. We are looking to take on a hardworking and enthusiastic Cabinet Maker who is willing to learn, develop their skills, and grow with the business.
The role involves both workshop-based manufacturing and on-site installation. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, reliable, and take pride in producing high-quality bespoke work.

Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke cabinets, wardrobes, and furniture in our workshop
- Assemble chests of drawers and fitted furniture
- Make drawer boxes and fit drawer fronts
- Use an edgebander and table saw
- Work from cutting lists and technical drawings
- Drill and prepare doors and components
- Assist with on-site installation when required
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in carpentry / bench joinery
- Ability to produce work to a high standard
- Experience using machinery, including: edgebander and table saw
- Ability to read and understand cutting lists and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday: 7:00am – 6:00pm
Job Types: Full-time, Self-employed
Pay: £14.00-£25.00 per hour
