Junior Account Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship: Accounts Assistant level 2
Working hours: Monday – Friday
Up to 40 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Pay: £18,000 – £20,000

Requirements:

Responsibilities
- Raise and process sales orders accurately within internal systems.
- Generate and issue sales invoices based on approved sales orders.
- Maintain accurate customer records and supporting documentation.
- Process supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure relevant approvals have been obtained for supplier invoices.
- Support resolution of supplier queries and maintain effective relationships.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing payments.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies as they arise.
- Manage employee expense claims in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and approvals are obtained.
- Ensure compliance with internal expenses policy.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Support month-end processes.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as required.
Apprenticeship eligibility requirements:
- To not already hold an accountant qualification at level 2 or above
- To have the right to work in the UK
Pay: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
