We are seeking a dedicated Chess Tutor to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role involves guiding students of various ages in developing their chess skills and strategic thinking, contributing to our mission of fostering learning and growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging chess lessons tailored to different skill levels.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote strategic thinking and problem-solving skills through interactive sessions.
- Organize chess activities and tournaments to encourage participation.
- Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents or guardians regarding student development.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and chess strategies.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or coaching chess.
- Strong understanding of chess strategies and rules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Prior experience in sports coaching is a plus.
- Passion for education and skill development.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications are preferred.
