Join Our Award-Winning Team as a Dental Nurse with Enhanced Responsibilities
At R Dental Clinic, we’ve been at the heart of dental excellence for over 50 years, proudly delivering outstanding NHS and private dental care with compassion, innovation, and professionalism. Our multi-award-winning practice offers everything from general dentistry to advanced cosmetic and Invisalign treatments — all from our modern, four-surgery clinic equipped with the latest technology.
We're looking for an experienced, GDC-registered Dental Nurse ready to step into an enhanced role that goes beyond the chairside — one that includes mentorship, compliance support and clinical development.
Located conveniently near Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Huddersfield, and surrounding areas, R Dental Clinic offers the perfect environment for a dental nurse ready to grow, thrive, and lead.
The Role: Dental Nurse with Enhanced Responsibilities
This is more than just a chairside nursing role — it’s a chance to become a key member of our clinical and compliance team. Working closely with the management team and clinicians, you'll play a crucial role in supporting day-to-day operations, mentoring junior nurses and helping maintain our excellent patient care standards.
Working Pattern:
- Full-time
- Occasional late evenings
- 1 Saturday morning session every 3 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Chairside Support: Assist dentists across a range of treatments (including restorative, cosmetic, and orthodontics). Prepare surgeries, instruments, and ensure optimal workflow during procedures.
- Infection Control: Lead by example in decontamination and cross-infection control, strictly following HTM01-05 and best-practice protocols.
- Patient Care: Deliver a warm, professional, and reassuring experience to every patient from arrival to departure.
- Clinical Admin: Maintain accurate clinical records, support with treatment planning, and ensure full GDPR compliance.
- Compliance & Regulation: Help uphold CQC and GDC standards. You’ll play a key role in quality assurance and auditing processes.
- Mentorship: Support and train trainee dental nurses, sharing your knowledge and building future talent within the team.
- Teamwork: Collaborate closely with dentists, receptionists, and the practice manager to deliver seamless, patient-centred care.
- Marketing Support : Assist in creating clinical content and visuals for social media — a unique chance to get involved with the wider growth of the practice.
- Software Use: Confidently use SOE (Software of Excellence) for appointments, records, and notes.
What We Offer:
- GDC Registration Fees Paid
- Funded CPD to help you grow your skills and knowledge

- Excellent organisational and time management skills
