Position Overview: We are looking for two reliable and detail-oriented Despatch Operators to join our energetic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely despatch of our products, playing an essential part in our commitment to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
-Product Handling: Prepare and package products for despatch, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
-Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick and palletise orders in a timely manner to ensure on-time delivery.
- Inventory Coordination: Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure that inventory levels are maintained and orders are fulfilled accurately.
-Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet trucks to facilitate efficient order processing.
-Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate records of despatch operations.
- Communication: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues related to despatch are reported to management/supervisor.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of products being picked for palletisation ensure they are within specification.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in despatch, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities/ plan amendments.
- Familiarity with dispatch software and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
-Counterbalance licence (ideal but not essential).
