Job description
The Dalziel group serves the meat processing and retail butchery industry throughout the UK. DRIVERS LICENCE IS REQUIRED.
You will be part of a team at the forefront of this successful company whose ultimate goal is to offer our customers an exceptional service. Duties are varied across all parts of the warehouse and will include:
- Receiving goods into the warehouse
- Recording and decanting products into our storage system
- Picking and packing customers’ orders
- Loading orders onto pallets and loading these onto our delivery vehicles
- Unloading/sorting goods when the vehicles return from the delivery route
- Maintaining health and safety and food safety standards
- Relief delivery driving
As a regular face of the company you must be reliable, enthusiastic and capable of positive customer interaction in relation to deliveries. The job would ideally suit someone with previous warehouse / delivery driver experience but it is not absolutely necessary.
The hours will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm with hour for lunch and Friday 8am to 4.30pm with half an hour break. This job attracts 20 days paid annual leave plus bank holidays.
