Generator Power is the UK's largest Independent generator company with over 28 years of experience in the industry. Generator Power has grown in recent years and is ready for further expansion. This growth offers the opportunity for a HGV Driver to join the team at our depot in Reading RG2.
Monday to Friday 8-5, 40 hours a week + Overtime rates
Duties/Responsibilities:
Load and unload Vehicles.
Operate forklift truck.
Deliver Generators and ancillaries to site and collect Generators and ancillaries from site (all industry sectors such as hospitals, construction, power grids and festivals)
Assist engineers on site.
Refuelling Generators on site and in dept.
Carry out general housekeeping to ensure work areas are tidy.
Installation and dismantle of Generators on customer sites.
Completion of daily vehicle inspections and reporting defects to transport department.
Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
Qualifications/Skills required:
High school or equivalent.
Class 2 HGV (Essential)
CPC Card
ADR Licence class 3 tanks and core packages & Class 9 Miscellaneous
Fork Lift Truck Licence (Desired but training can be provided)
Digital Tachograph Card
Knowledge of Lifting operations / Equipment
