The Ethnic Minority Research Inclusion (EMRI) Network believes health and care research can only be truly effective where there is representation from all communities, in different types of research; this way we know that something works, it works for everyone.
EMRI has developed its work programme and priorities based on what the research community and local communities have told it, aiming to make research more accessible and open.
Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) are proud to host the EMRI Network. It was previously hosted by the National Institute for Health and Care (NIHR) Yorkshire and Humber Research Delivery Network (RDN). EMRI is a regional initiative dedicated to improving the inclusivity of research across our communities. Its mission is to ensure that people from all backgrounds, particularly those historically under-represented, have better opportunities to participate in, shape, and benefit from health and care research.
We are looking to appoint a Coordinator to support the EMRI Project Manager, EMRI Hub Leads and EMRI Languages Leads in the day-to-day running of the programme.
The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support across the EMRI programme, ensuring effective co-ordination of communications, meetings, events, and programme activity. The role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, supporting engagement with internal and external partners, and ensuring the smooth running of EMRI operational processes.
This is a central role in terms of the functioning of the EMRI Network and will involve a varied workload.
