Overview
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Mobile Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting the preparation and serving of food at various locations, ensuring high standards of service and food safety. The ideal candidate will have a passion for catering and excellent customer service skills, with the flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant settings is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills whilst delivering exceptional service across different venues.

Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food presentation in line with company standards
- Serve food and beverages to customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the mobile catering unit, including kitchen and serving areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Support the setup and breakdown of catering equipment at various locations
- Replenish stock supplies as needed during service periods
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing enquiries and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently during all aspects of work
Skills
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and meal assembly techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Good communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Ability to work flexibly across different locations and adapt to varying working conditions
- Basic culinary experience required
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this role
Pay: £12.71 per hour
