Our treatment plants and incinerators are at the heart of our business, and as our Plant Operative you’ll be delivering against our promise to protect what matters in a practical way, by processing the safe disposal of a large variety of clinical waste.
Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off (Days & Nights) Wk1 - Days, Wk2 - Days, Wk3 - Lates, Wk4 - Nights
Key Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a small team your role will include the unloading of large waste containers from our vehicles in the yard and safely move waste across the site.
- You might be responsible for feeding waste into the incinerator or ensuring waste containers are emptied, thoroughly cleaned, and made available for collection to be used again by our customers.
To Succeed In This Role:
- You’ll have a good degree of reliability, and plenty of flexibility in relation to working hours and shift patterns.
- You’ll be able to undertake physically demanding tasks as some of our containers are large and heavy to move.
- You may also have previous experience working in a plant, warehouse, or heavy production line.
