Join NIHCSS as an Intensive Recovery Worker and support individuals with complex mental health needs to build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve their personal goals.
About the Role
This is a community-based mental health support role within the Norfolk Integrated Housing & Community Support Service (NIHCSS) - a partnership between Together for Mental Wellbeing and St Martins Housing.
You will:
- Provide recovery-focused support to adults (18+) with complex mental health needs
- Empower service users to gain independence and move into more independent living
- Build positive, meaningful relationships based on trust, respect and inclusion
- Support individuals to attend appointments and engage in their community
- Work as part of a supportive, values-driven team
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about mental health, recovery, and wellbeing
- Empathetic, non-judgemental and person-centred
- A strong communicator with great engagement skills
- Resilient, organised and self-motivated
- Keen to build a long-term career in mental health support
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle (mileage expenses paid)
- Ability to work across Norwich and surrounding areas
