Clay Pigeon & Archery Instructor - Freelance
Rate Negotiable
Magnificently set in the secluded splendour of 400 acres of deer park and woodland, bordered by the calming waters of Bassenthwaite Lake and framed by the dramatic Skiddaw Mountain and Lake District Fells, Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa is as romantic as the surrounding countryside.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Clay Pigeon Shooting & Archery Instructor to coach and guide individuals or small groups of hotel guests who are interested in trying their hand at Countryside Pursuits. This will be “as and when required” depending on bookings made by hotel guests (so not every week) so will require flexibility. Each session will likely last between 2 to 3 hours and we are negotiable on the hourly rate.
Both Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery are challenging tests of hand/eye co-ordination and reaction speed. In the events at Armathwaite Hall Hotel and Spa, the clays would be released to mimic the unpredictable nature of live birds by alternating between trajectories, angles, speed etc. Unlike game shooting, clay pigeon shooting can be enjoyed year-round, making it perfect in the somewhat changeable conditions of the Lake District and the added bonus of Archery Instruction ensures we can provide pursuits for all ages and abilities.
