Electrician Trainer/Tutor – Full Time
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £32,500 – £38,000 (based on experience & qualifications)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

At Elec Training, we’re offering a unique opportunity for the right individual to become a Electrician Trainer/Tutor — no prior teaching experience required.
If you’re passionate about the trade and want to inspire the next generation of electricians, we’ll provide full training and fund your teaching qualifications to help you succeed in your new role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering and supporting Level 2, Level 3, and 18th Edition electrical courses
- Coaching adult learners through practical and theory-based lessons
- Managing learner progress and helping them achieve qualifications
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and professionalism
- Playing a key role in learner development and success
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experienced in domestic, commercial and/or industrial electrical installation
- Qualified with:
- Level 2 & 3 Diplomas
- 18th Edition
- NVQ Level 3 (C&G 2357)
- ECS Gold Card
Desirable (but not essential):
- Assessing qualification (e.g., A1/TAQA)
- IQA certification
- Advanced electrical qualifications (e.g., C&G 2391/2396)
- Green energy knowledge (Solar PV, EV Charging, etc.)
- A drive to mentor others and grow professionally
