A full time position has arisen for an Administrator in a busy stoke based residential care home. This is a varied position which encompasses all elements of administration work.
The job is 35 hours per week, primarily Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, however there will be occasions where evening or weekend work is required.
As the homes first point of contact, you will help ensure a positive first impression is created with all persons. You will be responsible for greeting and supporting any visitors; answering telephone calls, responding to emails; dealing with enquiries; arranging appointments.
You will support persons living at the service by helping them with any administration style tasks; liaising with their family and friends, arranging transport; keeping paperwork up to date and arranging the visiting hairdresser and chiropodists appointments.
You will be responsible for managing the administration of the recruitment process and staff files, maintaining client information, petty cash and ordering of supplies.
You will also carry out Line management duties of ancillary staff. Being part of the management team, you will also assist the Directors and Registered Manager to ensure we are fully compliant with our inspecting body. The post calls for a highly organised proactive individual who cares about good outcomes and being part of a dedicated team.
Applicants must be Windows PC proficient. An enhanced DBS check will be required, with the cost to be met by the successful applicant.
