Inbound Vehicle Inspector
Location: Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire
Shift: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (42.5 hours per week, including 30-minute lunch break)
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Ongoing Work
We are currently recruiting for Inbound Vehicle Inspectors to join a busy automotive operation in Upper Heyford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career within the automotive industry, with full training provided and no previous experience required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting vehicles as they arrive on site, recording any damage, and ensuring vehicles are booked in correctly before entering the preparation process.
The Role:
As an Inbound Vehicle Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Booking vehicles in and out as they arrive and depart from site
- Completing inbound vehicle inspections on newly arrived vehicles
- Identifying and recording any vehicle damage or defects
- Accurately completing inspection paperwork and vehicle condition reports
- Liaising with transport and operational teams regarding vehicle arrivals
- Ensuring all vehicle records are completed correctly and efficiently
- Working outdoors as part of a busy vehicle logistics operation
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
The Person:
- Full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 3 years
- No more than 3 points for minor offences
- Good attention to detail and ability to spot vehicle damage
- Comfortable completing paperwork accurately
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous automotive experience is not required as full training will be provided
