CRJ Services Ltd is a leading recycling, forestry and material processing equipment solutions provider based near Knutsford, Cheshire. We hire and sell quality machinery from a range of world-renowned OEM brands, with machines supported by our Service department.
We are looking for an additional skilled Mobile Heavy Plant Mechanic to join our existing Service Team, to be based in the North West. The successful candidate will be required to adapt to changing work locations and schedules as needed. The main purpose of the role is to diagnose problems, maintain, repair and refurbish our growing fleet of recycling plant (shredders and screeners) for both our own hire fleet and also for our customer owned equipment.
Skilled Plant Mechanic (field based x 1): Service Department
The successful candidates will have the relevant qualifications and background in mechanical engineering. Knowledge of heavy plant will be essential, and previous experience with shredders and screeners would be a major advantage, must have knowledge on hydraulic and electrical systems.
Candidates must be able to work alone, have good timekeeping, have their own hand tools, fault find quickly and have a good standard of workmanship, maintain positive working relations with customers.
Must have previous experience of mobile/field servicing and be willing to travel and work a significant amount of paid overtime/be on call as our customers are UK wide.
To be based in the North West of England with good access to road networks.
