Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Assistant Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, with a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and the ability to oversee daily operations effectively.
An allrounder with hands on experience in multiple departments including Hotel Reception, Bar and Restaurant and Housekeeping.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the management team in maintaining high standards of service, supervising staff, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Support the Hotel Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
- Supervise and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a positive working environment
- Assist with guest services, resolving issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction
- Coordinate reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, ensuring smooth administrative processes
- Manage human resources functions including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Plan and organise events such as conferences, family events, inhouse events and weddings
- Maintain health and safety standards in accordance with hotel policies and regulations
- Contribute to the development and implementation of hotel policies and procedures
- Liaise with other departments such as housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage to ensure seamless service delivery
- Support marketing initiatives to promote hotel services and maximise occupancy rates
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel environment
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent organisational skills
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Knowledge of human resources practices including staff management and training programmes
- Experience in hospitality management systems and reservation software is advantageous
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; additional languages are a plus

Pay: Up to £29,835.00 per year
