At the heart of this journey is the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central in October 2026 — and they need a commercially astute, hands-on Project Accountant to help make it happen.

Your Mission
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, your role will be to strengthen financial reporting, support operational decision-making, and play a central role in the successful implementation of Business Central.
You’ll be trusted to bring rigour, pace and ownership — helping the business improve financial visibility and operational performance.
What Success Looks Like
You will:
- Deliver accurate, timely and meaningful monthly management accounts in line with the month-end calendar
- Become a key contributor to the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central (go-live October 2026)
- Produce clear, commercially relevant reporting to support business decision-making
- Lead and support finance-led improvement projects across the organisation
- Help optimise the cash cycle and working capital performance against budget targets
- Bring structure, accountability and continuous improvement into finance processes
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience
You’ll likely bring:
- Experience within an SME or family-owned business environment where agility and ownership matter
- A “hit-the-ground-running” mindset with the confidence to operate hands-on
- Strong financial reporting capability with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills — able to explain numbers in a way the wider business understands
- A continuous improvement mindset and passion for better ways of working
- A reputation as a project finisher — someone who follows through and gets things delivered
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills in a varied, hands-on role
- Confidence using collaboration and workflow tools including Microsoft Teams, Planner and Loop
Qualifications
- AAT qualified, part-qualified accountant, or QBE with demonstrable relevant experience
