We are looking for a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Sheringham. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality, delicious food and will play a key role in assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning and development of new dishes
- Ensuring the highest standard of food quality and presentation
- Supervising and training kitchen staff
- Overseeing food preparation and cooking
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Monitoring inventory and controlling food costs
- Collaborating with the front of house team to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- A passion for food and a creative approach to cooking
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
