Key Responsibilities
· Planning, sourcing and developing a commercial successful range of products
· Bringing innovation into the category by staying close to the external market, industry, and competitors
· Research product landscape to keep current with industry trends and pricing dynamics in the consumer-product-goods space
· Ensuring we have strong marketing plans to support the strategy and promotional activity
· Leading change to support the department in key processes that deliver improved sales performance, increased profits, and support the ongoing strategy
· Become a Beauty category expert, continually developing your knowledge of products, competitors, and market activity to deliver increased performance.
Required Experience & Skills:
· 5+ years’ experience in beauty buying with evidence of successful negotiation in competitive market
· Meticulous attention to detail with a proven track record of delivering results while juggling multiple projects
· Completing regular competitor shops and market research.
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Attention to detail is must
· A flexibility and readiness to adapt to changing priorities
