Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in early years with a keen interest in child development. This is an apprenticeship role with great progression opportunities where you will train on the job to become a skilled early years educator whilst gaining valuable experience in a supportive and upbeat environment.
Apprenticeship: Early Years Educator Level 3
Working hours: up to 40 hours per week
Start date: ASAP
Pay: £8 per hour
Package includes:
· Complete a fully funded qualification
· Spend at least 6 of your contracted working hours studying towards your apprenticeship
· Career progression into a room leader, nursery manager

Requirements:
- Commitment to completing a Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship
- GCSE Grade C / 4 (or equivalent) OR Functional Skills Level 2 in English & Maths (preferred)
- Some experience working with children (e.g. nursery, school, childminding, babysitting)
- Strong communication skills and professional attitude
- Understanding of safeguarding (or readiness to adopt it quickly and seriously)
Responsibilities:
- Learn to deliver exceptional early years practice
- Support and gradually lead high-quality learning experiences
- Develop strong behavioural and developmental understanding
- Build professional relationships with parents and colleagues
- Embed safeguarding and best practice as second nature
- Contribute to a culture of excellence and accountability
Responsibilities
- Support children through play, exploration, and daily routines
- Interact warmly and respectfully with children at their level
- Observe children’s interests and learning with guidance from senior staff
- Help prepare and maintain engaging learning environments
- Build respectful relationships with colleagues, children, and families
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, supervision meetings, and apprenticeship
learning sessions
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and training requirements within agreed
timescales
Apprenticeship eligibility requirements:
- To not already hold an early year’s qualification at level 3 or above
- To meet course suitability and initial assessment requirements in English and maths
- To have the right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria
Pay: £8.00 per hour
