1st UK Broking is an ambitious commercial insurance broker with offices in Sunderland and Durham.
We have a Gross Written Premium of over £10 Million and the business consistently grows each year by 25-30%.
We are now looking to expand our account handler team in our Sunderland office and are looking for candidates with previous experience working within the insurance industry.
Job Description -
- Handling incoming calls from customers
- Adjusting existing insurance policies to suit the customer
- Setting up loans via online portals
- Increasing and decreasing existing loans to reflect our customer needs
- Obtaining quotes from insurers via online portals or dealing directly with underwriters.
- Collecting payments from customers via debit/credit card
Most calls will consist of motor fleet insurance enquiries, including adjustments to existing fleets, direct debit queries, collecting payments and policy termination.
Skills Required -
- Good communications skills with the ability to create good relationships with clients and insurers.
- Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Previous Insurance experience - Commercial lines experience is preferred but we will consider candidates with personal lines experience.
Training will be provided.
4 day working week
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
Salary £25,000 per year.
25 days holiday plus bank Holiday per year.
