We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter / Joiner to join our team working on residential refurbishment and construction projects. The role involves a mix of first fix, second fix, and finishing works across high-quality developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first fix carpentry (stud walls, joists, roofing, structural works)
- Complete second fix carpentry (doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens)
- Install bespoke joinery and finishes to a high standard
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Work closely with site managers and other trades
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter/Joiner (Ideally 3+ years)
- Ability to complete both first and second fix work
- Own tools and transport preferred
- Valid CSCS card
- Good understanding of construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience in high-end residential projects
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry/Joinery
- Ability to manage small tasks independently
