Due to a period of exciting growth, our client is seeking a Recruitment Lead to oversee foster care applications within their regional service.
This is a high-impact, people-focused role at the heart of the foster carer recruitment journey. You will manage a regional pipeline of prospective foster carers, supporting them from their initial enquiry through to initial assessment and home visits. Rather than simply managing leads, you will play a key role in opening the door for individuals and families who are ready to make a lasting difference in children's lives.
The role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment, where success is measured not only by performance outcomes but also by meaningful social impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
. Manage a defined regional pipeline of enquiries from first contact through to initial visit
. Respond quickly and consistently across phone, email, and text to maximise engagement and conversion
. Keep momentum high by proactively following up with all prospective carers
. Re-engage withdrawn or inactive applicants where appropriate, uncovering new opportunities to progress
. Build trusted relationships with prospective foster carers through warm, confident, and empathetic communication
. Guide individuals through the early stages of their fostering journey with clarity and professionalism
. Ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to safeguarding, care, and quality
. Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and regional performance reporting
. Provide weekly updates and support month-end reporting cycles
. Ensure all activity is fully compliant with safeguarding policies, GDPR, and internal procedures
. Keep systems and records updated with precision and attention to detail
. Support and co-facilitate engaging Live Q&A sessions for prospective carers
. Participate in regional and recruitment team meetings
. Contribute to continuous improvement across recruitment activity and processes
What We're Looking For:
. Experience in recruitment, sales, or high-volume conversion environments
. Confident, engaging communicator - comfortable building rapport quickly over phone and video
. Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and a busy regional pipeline
. Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously from home
. Strong team mindset with the ability to support others while owning your own targets
. Comfortable working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate data
. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
. Experience in fostering or children's services is beneficial but not essential
. Happy to have a DBS check
What's in it for you?
. Competitive salary up to £30,000 + performance-related commission
. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
. Flexible, home-based working
. Employer pension contribution
. Ongoing training and professional development
. A meaningful role where your work directly contributes to improving children's lives
