Full Time Coach – Nudge Fitness
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000
Location: Nudge Fitness, Goldsworth Park, Woking, Surrey, GU21 3LG
We’re Hiring: Full Time Coach
We’re looking for an outstanding coach to join the team at Nudge Fitness.
Nudge is a growing Small Group Personal Training gym in Woking. We help busy adults build strength, improve fitness, move better, and feel healthier for the long term.
Most of our members are aged between 35 and 55. They’re juggling careers, families, responsibilities, aches, pains, stress, and busy lives. Many have struggled with traditional gyms, diets, or exercise programmes before finding us.
Our job isn’t just to coach exercises.
It’s to help people believe they can do things they never thought possible.
Every day you’ll coach people who want to:
- Feel stronger
- Have more energy
- Improve their health
- Move without pain
- Keep up with their children or grandchildren
- Stay independent as they get older
We’re proud of the results our members achieve, but we’re equally proud of the culture we’ve created.
Nudge is built on four principles:
Community. Culture. Coaching. Results.
We believe fitness should improve your life, not take it over.
⸻
About The Role
You’ll be coaching small groups throughout the day, typically at a coach-to-member ratio of approximately 1:6.
Sessions are fully coached and follow structured training programmes built around:
- Strength
- Mobility
- Cardiovascular fitness
- Long-term health and longevity
You’ll spend your time:
- Delivering exceptional coaching sessions
- Building relationships with members
- Supporting new members through onboarding
- Conducting reviews and check-ins
- Helping prospective members understand how we can help them
- Maintaining high standards across the gym
- Supporting events, challenges, workshops and community activities
- Contributing ideas to improve the member experience
This is a hands-on coaching role for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people.
⸻
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a coach with at least 1–2 years of coaching experience who wants to continue developing their craft.
You don’t need to have worked in a Small Group Personal Training gym before, but you do need to be passionate about coaching people, building relationships, and helping members achieve things they didn’t think possible.
The right person is far more important than the perfect CV.
You’ll:
- Care deeply about helping people
- Be warm, approachable and easy to talk to
- Be confident leading groups
- Have excellent communication skills
- Take pride in your work
- Be proactive and willing to help
- Be organised and reliable
- Be coachable and open to feedback
- Bring positive energy to the gym every day
- Be comfortable speaking with members and prospective members
- Enjoy working as part of a team
You’ll understand that coaching isn’t about showing how much you know.
It’s about helping other people succeed.
⸻

- Minimum 1–2 years’ coaching experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to work in the UK
